Thorndon Park has a new Pebble Walk trail guide and new signboards.

The new Pebble Walk has been created following a wonderful grant opportunity from the Land of the Fanns Landscape Partnership Scheme.
A £4000 grant from their Community Action Fund enabled Ian and Ros to re-make the Pebble Walk trail guide, the Ice Age Pebble Wall, the information sign boards and Jurassic Tree location and sign.
A new waymarked trail was also made, with QR code to help you find your way. Do try out your new trail.
The Land of the Fanns is a unique enclosed fenland created by the actions of the Ice Age upon the landscape. Its fascinating geological story is depicted in the new edition of 'Essex Rock' (April 2022).
Visit the Land of the Fanns to find out more about the area.
Take a walk (with wellies) and enjoy the Pebbles!
